At GarageCraft3d, we’re pioneering a fully offline, AI-assisted customization system to streamline how customers design their own tap handles. Through a responsive web interface, users are guided step-by-step in selecting their preferred handle style, adding custom text, choosing from a curated font library, and generating unique background imagery; All through a conversational assistant. The AI handles layout decisions, font sizing, and positioning automatically, ensuring that each design is both visually appealing and production-ready. This allows us to bridge creativity and manufacturing with zero design experience required from the customer.
Currently, we have successfully rebuilt and validated each core system component including offline AI chat integration, local image generation, font handling, and text layout all within a clean and scalable folder structure.
We have transitioned from standalone model tests to a fully functional web-based interface backed by a local conversational AI. At this milestone, customers can interact directly with the assistant to guide their design process, and we’re now refining how generated content (text and image) fits within the physical constraints of our 3D-printed tap handles. The next phase will focus on enabling visual previews of the final product, embedding layout constraints for different tap handle zones, and fully automating model preparation for multi-color 3D printing.

We are closing in on a seamless end-to-end experience. One where custom tap handles can be ordered, generated, and printed with minimal manual intervention.
